Booking
How do I book?

All bookings are taken via the booking section on the website. Select your vehicle, pick your dates and continue to payment, it couldn’t be simpler. Prices will be automatically generated by the booking system and will be based on the prices quoted in the rates section of the website.  

If you wish to pay all cash please contact us by phone or email and we will process your booking manually.

What is not included in the hire cost?

Fuel is not included. All vehicles will be full when collected and must be returned full. Vehicles must be returned in a similar condition (inside and out) as they were when collected otherwise a cleaning fee will be applied. Toll charges must be paid otherwise an admin fee will be applied. Waste tanks must be returned empty. Services subject to extra charges can be seen in our rates section.  

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum booking period in July and August is 7 days for our Motorhomes and 5 days for our Campervan. The rest of the year the minimum hire period is 3 days..  

Is there a security deposit?

A security deposit of £500 is required 2 days before the start date of your booking. This can be paid by bank transfer, credit or debit card. This will be returned within 3 days of the vehicle being returned providing there are no outstanding issues.

Is a deposit required to secure the booking?

At least 50% of the total rental cost is due at the time of booking. This amount is non-refundable. We accept credit and debit card through our online payment system. The remaining balance must be paid at least 21 days prior to the commencement of the rental period. A cancellation policy applies. 

What is the cancellation policy?

If cancelled more than 21 days prior to collection date the deposit of 50% is non-refundable 

If cancelled 21 nights or less prior to hire collection then the full hire cost will be applied. 

Documentation
What documents do I need to provide?

All documents must be sent at least 48 hours prior to collection. These can be digital copies but originals must provided on the day of collection. 

Copy of photo card driving licence showing category entitlement (address details and ID must be up to date). Paper counterpart is required for NI licence. For UK mainland we also require national insurance number to carry out DVLA check. 

Two forms of proof of address for every driver from the following list:

  • Council tax • Mobile Phone Bills

An annual council tax bill will be accepted. All other documents must be dated within 90 days of the hire date. The address & name on your licence must match both documents.  

Do I need my own insurance?

No, fully comprehensive insurance and public liability insurance are included in the rental cost.

Do I need a special licence to hire?

No a normal full licence is all that’s required. All drivers must be over 23 and have held a full licence for at least 2 years. You must have no more than 2 sets of three points or 1 outstanding claim in the past 3 years. Single 4 point offences are also acceptable.  

Single 6 point SP30, SP50 and CU80 convections are acceptable subject to a £1000 excess. 

All other 6 point+ offences will require referral to our insurers. We are required to carry out a licence check where possible.  

Is there an age limit?

Yes drivers must be between 25 – 79. Please get in touch if you are outside this age range and we can refer your details to the insurer for an individual decision.  

What if I am travelling in Europe?

If your driving a rented vehicle in the EU (including ROI) or EEA, you will need to have a VE103 certificate with you. This is an authenticated document that acts as a substitute for the V5C. It contains details of the vehicle along with the name and address of the Hirer. It must be produced on demand to prove that you have permission from the owner to be in possession of the vehicle. There is no acceptable substitute.

We will produce the VE103 Certificate for you. Please select the option for VE103 Certificate in the extras section at the time of booking. The certificate will be presented to you at handover.

Make sure you keep the certificate in a safe place as without it you could face delays at the border or risk the vehicle being impounded. It will also be required by our recovery operator and/or insurance company should they need to attend.

General
Are there any additional drivers?

Cover is provided for 1 primary driver meeting the requirements. 

Additional named drivers can be added at £25 per person per hire. 

Can I travel to the UK Mainland or EU?

Yes please make us aware as we will have to inform the insurance provider. 

What happens if the motorhome breaks down?

We are fully covered with RAC breakdown cover and roadside assistance. If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 48 hours of being reported to us you will be reimbursed up to a maximum of the rental hire rate for the number of nights affected until the problem is resolved.  

Is smoking allowed?

No, smoking is not permitted in any of our motorhomes or awnings. Fines will apply if evidence of smoking exists.  

Are pets allowed?

Yes we are a pet friendly motorhome rental company and we allow small domestic dogs for a cost of £50/animal per rental up to a maximum of 2 and only following our consent. We may allow extra animals on an individual basis so please get in touch if you have this requirement. 

Do you provide bedding and towels?

All beds will come with a mattress protector and sheet fitted. Additional bedding (duvets and pillows) can be provided at an additional cost of £20 per set per hire. Towel packages can be purchased as an optional extra. See Pricing page for further information. 

Do I need to book campsites in advance?

You are free to stay wherever you find suitable whilst on your trip. You may find it useful to stay at a campsite every few days to enable you to empty the toilet and recharge the electrical main supplies. Some campsites will provide this service without you having to stay the night. If you do wish to book into campsites, most fill up quickly during peak periods so please plan ahead 

Pick-up/drop-off
Can I park my vehicle at your site?

Yes we have parking at our base. Vehicles and contents are left at owners own risk.  

Where can I collect my vehicle?

Our base is in Ballinamallard County Fermanagh. We offer a drop-off and pick up service throughout Northern Ireland/Ireland. Airport drop-off and pick-up for any Northern Ireland airport is £100 and Dublin airport is £150 per journey. Please contact for an individual quote for other locations. 

What are the collection and return times?

The vehicle can be collected from 3pm and must be returned by 10am otherwise charges will apply. Please allow up to an hour to complete the handover.  

Early pick-ups and late drop-offs may be available but will not always be possible due to other hire requirements and are unlikely in peak periods. You will receive an email 1 week prior to travel when this will be offered if available. The charge will be £50 for an early pick up or late drop off. The extra cost can be paid at that stage.
